Green Giant®️ Green Bean Casserole with Almonds Recipe

INGREDIENTS

2 boxes (7.5 oz each) Green Giant®️ Green Beans & Almonds, thawed
1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk
1 cup fried onions (plus extra for topping)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1/4 tsp smoked paprika (optional, for a slight smoky flavor)

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350°F
Open two boxes (7.5oz each) of Green Giant®️ Green Beans & Almonds and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Remove almond packet and save for topping.
Microwave green beans for 2 minutes to soften. Once softened, add to mixing bowl.
In the same mixing bowl, add 1 can (10.5 oz) of condensed cream of mushroom soup, ½ cup of milk, ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese (optional), ½ tsp garlic powder (optional), ¼ tsp of smoked paprika (optional), and salt & pepper (to taste). Stir everything together until well combined. Transfer green bean mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread mixture out evenly.
Place the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, until it’s hot and bubbly. Remove from oven and sprinkle the top with the reserved almonds and 1 cup of fried onions.
Return to oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the onions are golden and crispy.
Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
